Meet Our Instructors
Kevin Brewerton (www.impactfitness.me)
Kevin Brewerton made a name for himself by becoming one of the top point fighters the world has ever seen. He was the first man to ever compete nationally and internationally at the same time, in the UK and the USA. It was Kevin Brewerton who brought the technique known as the “Blitz” to the shores of Great Britain. In England he was also known as “The Jedi”, he had a force within him that not many fighters could compare with. Only those who have ever been on the receiving end of this man’s endless repertoires of attacks will fully appreciate and understand that his ability was second to none.
A 5 time world kickboxing champion. His career has spanned more than 24 years, including 17 years of high impact training in the fields of martial arts and personal fitness. He believes a practical, hands on approach. This concept will enable clients to reach their full potential, which will benefit everyone from general fitness enthusiasts to professional athletes.

Maria Naisbitt
Maria discovered yoga over 10 years ago in the midst of working in the fast- paced travel and hospitality industry, and quickly realized that her yoga practice was and still is the biggest gift she could have ever given herself. Working through challenging poses on her mat, she found an inner peace and serenity that grounded and uplifted her. Taking these lessons into the real world, she started to apply them into her daily life. It didn’t take her long to realize that one day she would share her joy and new sense of balanced calmness with all those around her.
After moving to Los Angeles in 2003 from San Francisco, she continued her practice and studies with the Yoga Works School, completing the 500 Hour Teacher Training in 2008, and currently teaches group classes at the RakSa Studio in Culver City and the YMCA in Santa Monica. Her classes offer a blend of mindful flow and gentler restorative poses. While focusing on fundamental body alignment, she emphasizes finding a graceful flow between the union of movement and breath, striving to guide students inward to their own discovery of self in a light- hearted and nurturing environment.
Tara Danloe
Tara Danloe is a professional belly dancer born and raised in Los Angeles, California. She specializes in her own unique style of bellydance, drawing influence from American Cabaret, American Tribal style, Flamenco, Bollywood, and Salsa. Tara started dancing in 2002 with acclaimed teacher and Bellydance Superstar Ansuya and has been dancing and performing ever since. Tara instructs her students by breaking down the moves simply and easily and delights her audiences with snaky undulations, beautiful hand and arm movements, and innovative musical interpretation.
Tara’s introduction to bellydance workshop focuses on teaching the basic foundations of bellydance movements and empowering her students to develop their own unique styles by tapping into their femininity. This fun and sassy class is a great workout and will leave you wanting more. Tara believes that a great belly dancer loves what she does and is able to convey that to her audience which is why she focuses on the details of expressing yourself as a performer from the first class. This hour and a half workshop concludes with a five minute performance so that students can take what they learn and practice on their own.
Class attire: Yoga pants or a skirt and hip scarf if you have it.
