HOLLYWOOD, California (January 4, 2002) - UnderShare, Inc. announces the co-hosts for "UnderDressed" its first annual benefit fashion show. Jonathan Silverman (The Single Guy, Weekend at Bernie's) and McKenzie Westmore (Passions, Star Trek 9: Insurrection, Weird Science) will co-host the fundraiser, which is scheduled for February 9, 2002 at a Hollywood Hills multi-million dollar mansion.

The $250 per ticket event will feature a lingerie fashion show and silent auction. Professional models and the Wildland Firefighters from Los Angeles County Fire Camp 2 will model undergarments designed by local and national designers. Guests from the fashion and entertainment industries are expected to be among the approximately 200 guests.

"UnderDressed" will also feature a silent auction, which will include celebrity autographed and decorated underwear and donated items from movie sets. The following celebrities have agreed to decorate and donate boxers: Noah Wyle (ER), James Cromwell (LA Confidential, Babe, The Green Mile), Embeth Davidtz (Schindler's List, Thirteen Ghosts), Jacinda Barrett (The Real World, Urban Legends Final Cut), and the cast of Off-Centre, a new WB sitcom.

UnderShare, Inc. is a 501(c) 3 charitable organization dedicated to giving new underwear to service shelters for the disenfranchised. All donations made to the organization are tax-deductible to the fullest extent of the law. Helen Huang founded the organization in 1996 after researching newspaper articles about shelters and the homeless. Huang found that "underwear is like gold to the homeless" and she set out to do something about its short supply in the homeless community. "Homeless shelters," Huang states, "spend most of their funds on day-to-day maintenance and cannot afford to supply these much-needed items to its occupants."

UnderShare, Inc. has donated numerous pairs of underwear and socks to local shelters in Los Angeles, such as the LA Mission, Weingart Center, Downtown's Women's Center and most recently the Westminster Transitional Living Center.

Previous UnderShare, Inc. events include the Holiday Silent Auction sponsored by the VIC Internet networking group. Those auction items included entertainment industry memorabilia donated by various celebrities including Illeana Douglas, Jon Favreau, Heather Graham, Samuel L. Jackson, Lisa Kudrow, Jason London, Ewan McGregor, Christian Slater, Kevin Spacey, and Keifer Sutherland.
