UNDERSHARE INC. ANNOUNCES FUTURE PLANS FOR CLOTHING THE HOMELESS

New Organization To Donate Underclothes To Service Shelters For The Homeless

Los Angeles, California (November 1, 1999)-Undershare, Inc., a 501(c)3 non-profit charitable corporation today announced its mission to provide underclothes to those in need. The announcement signifies Undershare's dedication to providing new diapers, underwear, socks, bras, and toiletries to shelters that service the homeless. The charity plans to meet its goals through an aggressive campaign of volunteer efforts, individual donations, and special events.

Undershare has already received significant attention from the entertainment industry. Actors like Kevin Spacey, Samuel L. Jackson, Heather Graham, Teri Hatcher, Lisa Kudrow, Jon Favreau, Illeana Douglass, Kathy Bates, Christian Slater, and Kiefer Sutherland have made donations. Companies such as Twentieth Century Fox, Warner Brothers, The William Morris Agency, PolyGram Entertainment, Brillstein-Grey, and Imagine Entertainment have also made donations.

"On any given night there are 85,000 people living on the streets in California," said Undershare founder, Helen Huang, "The upcoming holiday season represents a wonderful opportunity for you to help the needy during a time of giving." Undershare hopes to donate 87,000 articles of underclothes to service shelters over the next six months. Huang founded the charity after recognizing the rising demand for new underclothing donations in service shelters as the homeless population continues to rise. "There are donations of used clothing to service shelters and to large social programs like the Salvation Army," Huang said, "but not fresh packs of underwear. People generally don't think of it."

Future Undershare events include an auction of Hollywood memorabilia, such as a life vest used in the blockbuster film Titanic, and a Swingers movie poster autographed by writer/actor Jon Favreau. A group of local bands in Los Angeles is organizing a benefit deemed Underfest, and an Undershare website, (www.undershare.org) is also in the works.

Undershare is entirely comprised of unpaid volunteers. Volunteers organize and develop Undershare projects that best suit their interests and skills. Undershare is currently seeking volunteers in a number of areas, such as event coordinating, project development, fundraising, and starting local Undershare chapters across the country.
